Okay, time for another report from The OTHER Side. So let’s begin…

Site update:

New Story now up, entitled “The New Ghostbuster” in which Kevin Shamrock makes his debut (officially).

Now I know that this may cause some confusion, but in my next report I’ll have the order of which the stories were supposed to be posted in. (Sorry that’s my fault, it’s all right the table broke the fall!)

Going around the web…

Ms. Doreen of the Ghostbusters Fan Forum sent me a link to the ‘real’ spots for vacationers in the Garden State. The sites name is “Weird New Jersey”, and I’ll have a permanent link added to the link section sooner or later. In the meantime the address is…

Ghostbusters Fascinating Facts!

Also on the web, a small site dedicated to little tid bits of the first GB movie. Granted these are a dime a dozen on the web, but this one is strictly the facts, and no jumping around a whole web site trying to find it. The link to this one is…

New at the Ghostbusters Fan Forum
I think I’ll review start reviewing a few Ghostbuster stories on a regular basis, or maybe not, haven’t decided yet.

A Time Dimension, part 2 by Christina Rivera
Plot – okay since part 1 and 2 were short, I’m going to give what I can guess is the plot. The Ghostbusters get a call from a boy in NJ (YEAH!) about people being frozen in time.
My Review – I give a 3 out of 5. It’s a tad short, so I can’t get a good feel for it, but it got very interesting towards the end of part 2.

Bill Murray – The ACTION FIGURE!
While checking the Message boards at http://www.ghostbusters.net/
, I came across this little number of Bill Murray as Dr. Peter Venkman AS a 12” action figure. The link to this is…

BASEBALL IS BACK! YEAH!
As you can see, I’m a baseball fan. So I’m happy to see that the season for my favorite team, those beast of the Northeast, The Philadelphia Phillies are going head to head with defending NL East Champs, the Tomahawk choke-artists, the Atlanta Braves. Hey, if you make it too the playoffs almost every year for a solid decade and you have one World Series ring to show for it, somethings wrong.
But ANYHOW, here are my predictions for the NL EAST for this year.

1.    New York Mets (If they don’t win it, I’ll be surprised.)
2.    Atlanta Braves (Still a dominate team)
3.    Philadelphia Phillies (Next year, they’ll be ready)
4.    Florida Marlins (Could be a sleeper team, or a last place team)
5.    Montreal Expos (Where have you gone Larry Walker… Darrin Fletcher… etc.)

Next Time, I’ll do the AL East.

A little something different
Came across this little item while browsing. It’s a link to a Las Vegas community news & culture weekly site, and it talks about the history of Easter. I found it interesting, hope you feel the same. The link is…

Ft. Belvoir report…

I called my old stomping grounds earlier this week, to see what’s up. What I found out is that one of my pals in now in a Alcoholic correction program. What I find strange is that he was supposed to have graduated on March 8th, but he got caught drinking in the barracks, for a second time. And now, instead of doing his job at Ft. Bragg, NC, he’s stuck at Ft. Belvoir till he cleans up his act. Other than that, everything is all good and dandy at the Delta Dawg House.

And Finally my thoughts on something that happened in the world…

Great Britain lost a great symbol of their country in the lost of Queen Elizabeth. I think it shows how mortal we all are, and how time in the end governs all. Like others, I also think it’s the beginning of a new era for Britain & the world.

Well that’s all for this time, see ya next time.

This is the man from the Other Side, Fred Ortiz .
