This is part of a series of short stories on how each Ghostbuster dealt with the events on Sept. 11, 2001.
This is not to make light of the situation, but a way to deal with the emotions of these tragic events.

The Days After - Kylie
By Frederick Aaron Ortiz

Kylie Griffin was a wreck. The only other time she felt this way was when her Grandma Rose past way a few
years ago. She never thought that she'd feel like this again. The pain of losing a loved one was hard to get
through, but the thought of over 2,500 people are now gone was beyond anything she could take. But she knew
she wasn't alone this time.

She saw that everyone had the same feelings & thoughts. Everyone from Yelm, WA to Dallas, TX to
Philadelphia, PA to Lima, OH all had the same things on their minds.

"We're going to get through this."

Kylie looked out her window, normally see would see the neighborhood kids out in the street, playing. But
at the moment there was nothing but silence. Kylie then thought of the families that lost someone that
day.

"I wish that I could help."

Kylie knew a small family that lost someone in the towers. A young businessman, looking to make it in
the world, and now his chance was gone. Kylie knew what his family was going through.

"I'm going to help."

Kylie got up, grabbed her keys and headed upstairs...
